Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time unarmed patrol position at an aerospace and defense site in Arlington, VA. You will provide customer service, monitor access points, and respond to incidents following site procedures.

Responsibilities include regular patrols, credential verification, reporting, and maintaining professional communication with site contacts and responders. A background check and drug screen are required by policy.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen as per law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency responses.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities within an aerospace and defense environment.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor credentials and report access concerns per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and communicate observations to site contacts and responders.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately.
