Job summary

Allied Universal in Novi, MI is seeking a Security Officer Office to protect clients in aerospace and defense sites and deliver strong customer service. You will maintain a visible presence, support access control, and follow site procedures to ensure safety and security.

Responsibilities include patrolling facilities unarmed, monitoring entrances and perimeter boundaries, responding to incidents calmly, and preparing detailed reports.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of security-related experience.
• Graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent.
• Background and drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with established visitor management and access-control procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
