Job summary

Allied Universal in Austin, TX is seeking an unarmed Security Officer (Patrol Driver) with an active DoD Secret clearance. This full-time position supports an aerospace/defense site, patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, and delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to respond calmly to incidents, and completion of reports and shift communications.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Valid driver’s license required per policy.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted per laws.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may be required locally.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while following site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access activity and verify credentials to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and alarms, notifying contacts and responders as directed.
• Complete daily activity reports and shift communications.
