Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol DoD Security Clearance in ARLINGTON, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will deliver professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, billing operations spaces, entry points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and employee entry credentials in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document and report security-related observations to appropriate personnel.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and protect sensitive billing documentation, systems, and business information through attentive observation and adherence to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
