Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in ARLINGTON, VA. You will patrol, monitor access, and provide customer service while maintaining security procedures. This role offers flexible shifts with pay at $26.27 per hour.

Responsibilities include badge verification, responding to incidents, and supporting a secure environment on site. Requires DoD Secret Clearance and at least 2 years in security.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify credentials per procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner and notify relevant personnel.
• Maintain awareness of site conditions and report security concerns.
