Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking a Planner/Scheduler to support NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA. You will develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for flight, space technology, and aeronautics projects, ensuring alignment with NASA procedures.

As part of the PP&C team, you will perform critical path analysis, resource forecasting, and risk assessments, while coordinating with technical leads to deliver on-time milestones in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Project Management or 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
• In lieu of a degree, 4-6 years of relevant work experience in project planning and scheduling.
• PMI certifications (PMP/CAPM/PMI-SP) are highly desired.
• Must meet government and security access requirements to NASA assets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) per NASA procedures.
• Build project logic networks; validate sequencing, durations and resources.
• Maintain the IMS using MS Project and SSI tools.
• Interface with technical leads to gather status and forecast information.
• Conduct critical path analysis and risk-based recovery planning.
• Maintain the Schedule Management Plan (SMP) and baseline revisions.
• Coordinate with resource analysts and risk managers for cost, schedule, and risk integration.
• Develop WBS and schedule hierarchies for traceability.
