Job summary

AAA USA in Mobile, AL is hiring Process Engineers to support aerospace manufacturing and ERP transformation programs. You will bridge manufacturing operations with SAP functionality to optimize warehouse, logistics, inventory, and production processes.

Candidates should have 3+ years in process/industrial/manufacturing engineering, SAP WM/EWM/S/4HANA experience, and strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. Relocation assistance is available and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum 3 years in Process/Manufacturing/Industrial/Warehouse/Logistics Engineering.
• Experience with SAP WM, SAP EWM, SAP S/4HANA Warehouse Management.
• Experience supporting warehouse, logistics, inventory management, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience with material flow, inventory, and warehouse execution.
• Experience with SAP implementations, ERP deployments, system upgrades, or optimization.
• Experience participating in UAT, process validation, or system testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and PM skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to travel between locations.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, develop, and optimize manufacturing, warehouse, and logistics processes to improve safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Support SAP WM, SAP EWM, SAP S/4HANA and related ERP initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Evaluate material flow, warehouse layouts, inventory strategies, and storage processes to reduce waste and boost throughput.
• Design and maintain SOPs, process maps, and work instructions.
• Participate in SAP implementations, UAT, validation, and deployment activities.
• Gather requirements and translate needs into SAP and process improvements.
• Develop operational KPIs and SAP reports for data-driven decisions.
• Maintain BOMs, routings, warehouse master data, and inventory records.
• Support inbound/outbound logistics including receiving, inventory transactions, and shipping.
• Lead inventory accuracy initiatives through cycle counting and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve material flow and on-time delivery.
• Support NPI, production transfers, ramp-ups, and facility expansion.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, FAA, and customer quality standards.
• Train operators and stakeholders on new processes and SAP functionality.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement focusing on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Inventory.
