Job summary

Hutchinson in the United States seeks a Sales Engineer Aerospace to drive strategic sales activities with aerospace OEMs, Tier suppliers and distributors. You will build a robust RFQ pipeline and act as the primary liaison between customers and engineering/manufacturing teams.

The role requires strong technical aptitude, B2B sales experience in aerospace or related markets, and willingness to travel up to 50% (including international).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in technical B2B sales or sales engineering.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including international travel (Canada/Mexico).

Responsibilities

• Drive sales strategy execution and customer development within aerospace and non-automotive markets.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline of RFQs and new business opportunities.
• Develop strong customer relationships, acting as the liaison between customers, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Engineering to propose technical product solutions aligned with customer requirements.
• Analyze cost data, market trends, and competitive benchmarks to ensure profitable pricing and positioning.
• Lead contract negotiations and commercial discussions to meet revenue and margin targets.
• Monitor and report on sales performance, forecasts, and key metrics.
• Contribute to short- and long-term strategic planning to support growth initiatives.
