FDH Aero is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to blend hands-on electronics expertise with a sales orientation. The role requires traveling to customer sites to identify needs, deliver tailored solutions, and manage project timelines while promoting FDH Electronics’ full offerings.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in technical sales or field applications in aerospace/defense, with strong knowledge of cables, harness assemblies, MIL-STD/AS9100 standards, and proven customer relations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical sales or field applications engineering in electronics/aerospace/defense industries.
• Proven background in cable harness assemblies or related high-reliability interconnect solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical liaison to customers with on-site visits and design reviews.
• Collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot issues and support integration of electronics components.
• Identify and close new business opportunities; develop proposals and negotiate contracts.
