Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. in the Los Angeles area is seeking a Receiving Inspector to join the Materials Management and Supply Chain team. The role is on-site at the Apex Production facility, handling inbound material inspection and ERP documentation.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, implementing inspection practices, timely material inspection, documenting discrepancies, and ensuring inventory traceability. Collaborative cross-functional work and professional accountability are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of inventory control experience.
• MRP experience is required.
• Excel proficiency is required.
• Ability to operate a forklift and related equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify non-conforming materials.
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect all inbound materials against engineering drawings, purchase orders, and quality requirements.
• Cycle counts as needed.
• Implement and develop receiving inspection practices.
• Timely inspection of materials.
• Document receiving discrepancies and escalate quality issues to stakeholders.
• Picking of parts and delivering to inventory or production locations.
• Accurately receive materials in the ERP system and maintain inventory traceability.
• Support the development and improvement of receiving inspection processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Demonstrate professionalism and accountability.
