Job summary

Thermal Structures, Inc. in Corona, CA is seeking a Quality/Receiving Inspector to perform in-process and final inspections of aerospace components to ensure conformity with drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.

The role supports AS9100 standards, documents inspection results, generates FAIRs and verifies material certifications, with high attention to detail in a high-mix, mid-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent and quality inspection training
• Experience reading GD&T drawings and performing dimensional inspections
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments and documentation

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, first article (FAI), and final inspections of aerospace and industrial parts and assemblies
• Interpret engineering drawings, specs, and GD&T requirements
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain traceability records
• Identify and segregate nonconforming material per procedures
• Generate and support First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) per AS9102
• Verify material certifications and documentation for compliance
• Support internal and external audits as required
• Communicate inspection results and quality concerns to production and quality engineering teams
