Apex Technology, Inc. is seeking a Receiving Inspector to join our on-site Materials Management and Supply Chain team at the Apex Production facility. You will receive inbound materials, inspect against engineering drawings and POs, document discrepancies, and ensure ERP entries and inventory traceability.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in inventory control, MRP experience, forklift operation, and strong collaboration skills to support manufacturing readiness in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for a Receiving Inspector to work closely within the Materials Management and Supply Chain team. The Supply Chain team is a key function in procuring & managing the production flow of goods and services to ensure manufacturing readiness. The Receiving Inspector position in on site at the Apex Production facility. The main responsibilities are, receiving inbound materials, ensuring they meet product and quality specifications, and documenting this within our ERP system.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect all inbound materials against engineering drawings, purchase orders, and quality requirements
• Cycle Counts as needed
• Implement and develop receiving inspection practices
• Timely inspection of materials
• Document receiving discrepancies and escape quality issues to appropriate stakeholders
• Picking of parts and delivering them to inventory or production locations as needed
• Accurately receive materials in the ERP system and maintain inventory traceability
• Support the development and improvement of receiving inspection processes and standard work
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues quickly
• Demonstrate professionalism and accountability in all interactions and daily work

Requirements:

• Must be a US Person
• 2+ Years of inventory control experience
• MRP experience
• Ability to operate a forklift and relevant equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify non-conforming materials
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
• Ability to work effectively in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Hours are from 6:00am to 3:00pm
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed
• Ability to complete physical task such as lifting, standing, pushing, pulling, and more
