Saab West Lafayette is seeking a Technical Writer to join our team to support the manufacture of the T-7A Redhawk rear section for the U.S. Air Force. The role involves acting as the local SME for technical writing, guiding inspectors, and developing best practices while ensuring conformance to ISO9001/AS9100 quality requirements.

Responsibilities include NCRs, inspection/FAI plans, MRBs, and continuous process improvement. Must be U.S.

Qualifications

• AS Degree in Quality/Technical Writing or 3 years’ related experience in manufacturing quality.
• Previous technical writing experience in a manufacturing or quality operation.
• Ability to articulate technical product/process requirements.

Responsabilités

• Serve as local SME for technical writing and train inspectors.
• Report on writing performance and lead times to leadership.
• Develop best practices for technical writing across the organization.
