Job summary

Eaton’s IS AER FMC Aerospace division seeks a Site Quality Manager to lead the quality function, govern the QMS, and ensure compliance with AS9100 and regulatory standards. The role reports to the Plant Manager and focuses on driving improvements across quality engineering, supplier quality, inspection, and quality systems.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in aerospace quality leadership, strong audit and problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor cross-functional teams while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of quality supervision or management experience in aerospace, automotive, or medical manufacturing.
• Experience managing AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Irvine, CA; relocation is not provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the site Quality function and maintain the QMS.
• Drive regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and continual improvement.
• Develop and implement quality procedures, metrics, and processes.
• Lead quality engineers and auditors to achieve quality goals.
• Collaborate with customers and regulatory authorities on quality issues.
