Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Quality Inspector III to ensure aerospace products meet all engineering and quality specifications. This onsite role requires conformance inspections, use of various measurement tools, and coordination of non-conforming dispositions under AS9100 guidelines.

You will inspect at multiple stages, perform FAI, and communicate non-conformances effectively. A high school diploma and 2+ years in quality inspection are required; SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of related experience.
• AS9100 experience is preferred.
• Attention to detail and strong communication/recordkeeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect arriving, in-process, and completed products for conformance to engineering and quality specs.
• Perform in-process, final bench, and product feature inspections using measuring devices and statistical controls.
• Inspect actual products on the floor and on-line; perform First Article Inspections (FAI).
• Raise notifications of non-conformance and quarantine non-conforming product; provide disposition when approved.
• Oversee and inspect parts, materials and processes to ensure compliance.
