Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Onsite Quality Inspector to inspect incoming materials and in-process products. You will perform first article inspections, use calipers and gauges, and verify documentation to ensure conformance with engineering standards.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED with 1+ year of inspection experience, familiarity with SAP/Teamcenter, and the ability to read blueprints. Onsite shift expectations apply, with potential weekend support.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience reading blueprints and using calipers.
• Familiarity with SAP and Team Center.
• Experience with JP Edwards/One World/Engineering Information System is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming material and in-process items for conformance to specifications.
• Use measuring devices to inspect electronic units and perform 1st article inspections.
• Read and apply quality policies, procedures, and blueprints.
• Perform receiving, in-process, final inspection and 1st article approvals.
• Verify accuracy of work order documentation and maintain records.
