Collins Aerospace is seeking a Quality Inspector for an onsite role in San Marcos, TX. Responsibilities include inspection of ship loose kits, in‑process and finished goods, and documentation of product characteristics with precision.

Qualifications include HS diploma or GED with 1 year of inspection experience, experience with blueprints, and the use of micrometers and calipers. SAP experience is a plus; 2+ years in aerospace inspection preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent with 1 year of relevant inspection experience.
• Experience performing manufacturing or product inspections using blueprints and specifications.
• Experience measuring with precision tools like micrometers and calipers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect Ship Loose Kits and kit parts.
• Perform detailed inspections on in-process and finished goods, including First Article Inspections.
• Document product characteristics accurately with technical detail.
• Initiate Quality Notifications for non-conforming products.
• Apply QA procedures to hardware inspection and document reviews.
• Identify potential quality issues early and help prevent occurrences.
• Communicate quality issues to Collins Aerospace personnel for resolution.
• Monitor and use calibrated measuring instruments.
• Safely perform other duties as assigned.
• Work varying shifts or overtime as required.
