Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Jamestown, ND is seeking a Quality Inspector III to perform incoming inspections and verify conformance to design data requirements. You will read drawings, use precision tools, and document results.

The role requires a HS diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of related experience. Prior aerospace or regulated industry experience is a plus, along with SAP familiarity and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of related inspection experience.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and contract requirements is essential.
• Familiarity with SAP and standard quality inspection tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspections using measuring tools (micrometers, gauges, calipers) per drawings and specs.
• Read and apply quality policies, procedures, blueprints, and contract requirements.
• Conduct receiving inspections of products from suppliers with supervision.
• Operate computer systems to document inspection results and maintain records.
• Verify documentation for accuracy and completeness of units and subassemblies.
• Assist in First Article Inspections and related documentation.
