Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks a Quality Inspector III at our Jamestown, North Dakota facility to perform incoming inspections of products, parts, and materials against drawings and specifications.

The role uses gauges, micrometers, calipers, and SAP (preferred) to ensure compliance. Candidates should have a HS diploma/GED and at least 2 years of inspection experience, with strong attention to detail and ability to read documentation.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) and 2+ years of relevant inspection experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspections of products, parts, and raw materials to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints and documentation, use measurement tools and inspection instruments.
• Conduct receiving inspections from the supply chain and document results accurately.
• Operate computer systems to perform inspection tasks and manage records.
• Verify documentation for accuracy and completeness; assist in First Article Inspections.
• Handle administrative file-management tasks related to inspections.
