Job summary

Tendeg is seeking a Quality Inspector I to prep, assemble, and repair electrical wiring harnesses used in deployable antennas, ground support equipment, test equipment, and internal development tools. You will verify parts against drawings, perform visual and dimensional checks, and document findings.

Work with engineers and technicians to resolve quality issues, maintain safe, organized work areas, and follow all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical education in aerospace quality control preferred.
• Experience with GD&T and precision measuring instruments preferred.
• IPC-620, IPC-610 and J-STD 001 certifications are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Complies with safety practices and company directives.
• Advices production when inspection results do not meet specifications and creates non-conformance reports.
• Performs documentation of inspection results and deviations.
• Conducts inspections of aerospace components and materials per standards.
• Collaborates with engineers and technicians to resolve quality issues.
• Maintains clean, safe work environment and follows SOPs.
