Job summary

A&G Machine is seeking a Quality Inspector with at least 3 years of aerospace inspection experience. The role involves in-process inspections, dimensional checks, and accurate documentation on AS9102 form 3 FAI, plus surface plate work using precision tools.

You will read and interpret aerospace drawings, apply GD&T, and uphold strict quality standards while maintaining an organized work environment. This full-time, in-person position offers a Monday–Friday schedule and competitive compensation

Qualifications

• Basic math skills and high attention to detail.
• Minimum of 3 years in aerospace inspection.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communications skills in a leadership capacity, managing and working well with others.
• Be able to maintain and organized for a clean work environment.
• Strong back ground in GD&T.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret Aerospace drawings and specifications.
• Ability to do surface plate inspection using a wide range of precision hand tools (Calipers, Micrometers, Height gauges, Bore gauges).

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process inspections using a variety of equipment.
• Perform dimensional inspection on features and record the information on AS9102 form 3 FAI..
• Surface plate inspection using a wide range of precision hand tools (Calipers, Micrometers, Height gauges, Bore gauges).
• Maintain a working knowledge of quality standards, part inspection, and preservation methods, and stay abreast of new technologies and inspection methods.
