Qualifications

• Two to five years of aerospace quality inspection experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T symbols.
• Experience with precision measurement tools and inspection equipment.
• Strong attention to detail in a high-stakes environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with ERP/MRP software and digital QMS platforms.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of aerospace parts and assemblies.
• Use metrology tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and CMM equipment.
• Review and verify First Article Inspection Reports (AS9102), material certifications, and test reports.
• Review FAA Form 8130-3 for airworthiness and regulatory compliance prior to certification.
• Audit production processes for AS9100, FAA regulations, and internal work instructions.
• Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials.
• Initiate root cause analysis and participate in corrective actions.
• Conduct incoming inspections of supplier parts and final buy-offs.
• Prepare inspection plans from blueprints, drawings, and procurement docs.
• Perform conformity inspections for newly designed parts.
