Job summary

Hera Technologies is a premier contract manufacturer serving Aerospace, Defense, and Space sectors. We seek an experienced Quality Inspector to verify materials and components against drawings, generate records, and ensure conformity of processes and finishes.

You will work closely with machinists in a fast-paced environment and help maintain ISO9001/AS9100 compliance. The role requires hands-on inspection, tool calibration checks, and documentation of results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ Inspection/Quality experience in manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to interpret drawings including GD&T.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize inspection duties.
• Must have computer understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge of mechanical measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
• Experience with Dimensional Inspection Reports (DIRs) and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).

Responsibilities

• Inspect received materials, in-process items and finished components to drawings and specifications.
• Create inspection records in accordance with ISO9001/AS9100.
• Ensure finishes and processes comply with drawings and specs (paint, anodize, chem-film, etc.).
• Interface with machinists and production staff to resolve quality issues.
• Verify calibrated tools and instruments are within calibration intervals.
• Quarantine nonconforming material and document per Hera procedures.
