Job summary

This contract-to-hire role offers a fast-paced environment with 4x10 shifts and onsite work. The position requires at least 2 years in aerospace QA, proficiency with precision tools, and experience with AS9100 and ITAR compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years aerospace quality inspection experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T.
• Working knowledge of AS9100 quality management.
• Experience with ERP/MES documentation and non-conformances.
• Proficient with micrometers and calipers.
• Document control and quality records experience.
• Calibrations of inspection tools must be tracked.
• Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform first article inspections on aerospace components to verify conformance to requirements.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections to meet dimensional, visual, and documentation standards.
• Interpret drawings using GD&T to evaluate features and tolerances.
• Record inspection results in ERP and MES systems and manage non-conformances.
• Assist with audit prep by organizing and maintaining quality records.
• Maintain tool calibration status and documentation.
• Support AS9100 and ITAR compliance by following procedures.
• Use micrometers and calipers for dimensional inspections.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to address findings and corrective actions.
• Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
