Job summary

Okie Staffing is seeking a reliable Quality Inspector in Tulsa, OK to ensure manufactured parts meet quality and safety standards. You will perform inspections, document results, and collaborate with production and engineering teams to maintain product integrity.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, aerospace experience, and at least two years of inspection work in manufacturing. Proficiency with GD&T, blueprints, calipers, micrometers, and ERP systems is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Aerospace experience
• Minimum of 2 years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Working knowledge of GD&T
• Experience using standard measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.)
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, ERP systems)
• Preferred: AS9100 quality management system
• Preferred: gage R&R studies, calibration systems
• Preferred: CMM operation/ programming experience or welding inspection experience

Responsibilities

• Perform First Article, in-process, and final inspections using standard measuring equipment
• Interpret and inspect to engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain required quality records
• Accept or reject products based on applicable specifications and standards
• Identify, document, and control nonconforming materials
• Prioritize inspection workload to support production schedules and minimize downtime
• Collaborate with Production and Engineering to resolve nonconformance issues
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities
• Support development of inspection methods for new products
• Perform off-site inspections as required
• Track time and job activity within ERP/MRP systems
