Job summary

Tube Specialties, Inc. in Tempe, AZ, is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensure aerospace parts meet exacting standards using precision metrology equipment and NADCAP/AS9100 guided processes.

You will perform first article and final inspections, read engineering drawings, document nonconformances, and collaborate with manufacturing to drive corrective actions. This is an on-site role offering growth opportunities in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of NADCAP, AS9100 and GD&T.
• Experience in quality control inspection in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with micrometers, calipers and optical comparators.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tubing, fittings, machined parts, and metal castings for defects.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and customer specs.
• Complete NADCAP/AS9100 forms and maintain quality records.
• Document nonconformances and support production with quality issues.
• Perform final inspections to verify dimensional accuracy.
• Conduct first article inspections to validate processes against specs.
• Utilize precision tools to assess product conformity.
• Document inspection results and maintain audit-ready records.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to address issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with quality procedures and regulatory requirements.
