Job summary

AllClear Aerospace & Defense in Camarillo, CA seeks a quality assurance inspector to perform First Article, in-process, and final inspections of machined and structural sheet metal parts using drawings, process specs, mylars, and precision measuring tools.

You will log jobs in ERP, ensure FOD-free departure, verify tickets, document nonconformances, and assist in training inspectors while upholding the company QMS and safety standards.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 years aerospace experience.
Certification in machine shop technology, blueprint reading and GD&T.

Responsibilities

Perform First Article, in-process, and final inspection activities using drawings, process specs, and measuring tools.
Perform receiving inspection of purchased materials to verify conformance to PO requirements.
Document nonconforming material and prepare NCMR data for MRB review.
Log completed jobs in ERP and move product to the next stage; ensure traceability.
Ensure parts are not damaged and leave FOD free; verify pick tickets for accuracy.
Assess customer returned material (RMA) and provide feedback for disposition.
Assist in training QA inspectors; follow safety procedures and maintain organized work area.
