Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 3-5 years of related experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of aerospace experience.
• Certification in machine shop technology, blueprint reading and GD&T desired.
• Must be able to read and interpret detailed blueprints, drawings, and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform First Article, in-process, and final inspection activities of machined and structural sheet metal parts using a variety of inspection tools, drawings, process specifications, and gauges.
• Perform receiving inspection of purchased materials to verify conformance to purchase order requirements.
• Accurately document nonconforming material and prepare NCMR data for MRB review and disposition.
• Log completed jobs in ERP system and complete appropriate paperwork; move product to the next stage for processing.
• Ensure all parts and tools are not damaged and leave the quality department FOD free.
