Job summary

AllClear Aerospace & Defense is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to perform First Article, in-process, and final inspections of machined parts in a fast-paced defense/aerospace environment. You will verify conformance to drawings and specifications, document nonconforming material, and maintain ERP records for MRB disposition.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, 3+ years aerospace inspection experience, and familiarity with GD&T and blueprint reading.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or 3–5 years of related experience.
• Minimum of 3 years aerospace experience.
• Certification in machine shop technology, blueprint reading and GD&T desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform First Article, in-process, and final inspection using various inspection tools and drawings.
• Inspect received materials for conformance to purchase order requirements.
• Accurately document nonconforming material and prepare NCMR data for MRB review and disposition.
• Log completed jobs in ERP and complete appropriate paperwork, moving product to next stage.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and ensure parts are FOD-free.
• Assist in training Quality Assurance inspectors.
• Carry out duties safely and in accordance with procedures.
