Wencor Group seeks an experienced Quality Inspector to perform precision inspections ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and regulatory requirements (FAA/EASA). You will conduct FAIs, review certifications, and verify markings, labeling, and packaging.

The role requires strong GD&T interpretation, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED with substantial related experience or an ASQ pathway in progress.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED and five years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Associate's degree in quality, or related technical field preferred.
• Capable of becoming an ASQ Certified Quality Inspector within two years of position.
• Training in Lean Manufacturing, SPC, and Six Sigma concepts preferred.

Aufgaben

• Inspect articles to certifications, compliance to engineering technical drawings, Wencor policies and procedures, and FAA and/or EASA regulations.
• Perform first article inspections (FAIs) and full certification reviews.
• Visually inspect articles to acceptance requirements including marking, labeling and packaging.
• Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, aerospace specifications, government regulations.
• Interpret and analyze GD&T per ANSI/ASME Y14.5.
• Other duties as necessary and assigned.
