Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications and follow inspection instructions.
• Knowledge of AS9102 First Article inspections and quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and technical inspection of all parts and assemblies for conformance to requirements.
• Read blueprints and specs to support inspection plans and document results.
• Use calipers, micrometers, thread gauges to measure and verify design characteristics.
• Identify nonconforming products and document findings for disposition and corrective actions.
• Review and perform FAIs per AS9102 and customer requirements.
• Support corrective action investigations with factual inspection evidence.
• Handle CUI and FCI as required and assist continuous improvement in QA.
