Job summary

The candidate will read blueprints, use calipers, micrometers, and thread gauges, document results, and participate in FAIs per AS9102 while driving continuous improvement in the Quality Department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with two years related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret simple instructions, diagrams, and memos.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to identify discrepancies between documents and products.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and technical inspection of parts and assemblies per purchase requirements and customer specifications.
• Read blueprints and technical specs to support inspection plans and document results.
• Use calipers, micrometers and thread gauges to measure conformance to design characteristics.
• Verify inspection equipment is suitable for use and follow procedures for handling tools.
• Identify and document nonconforming products and support corrective actions.
• Review First Article Inspections (FAIs) per AS9102 and coordinate discrepancies with QA.
• Support continuous improvement activities within the Quality Department.
