Job summary

RTX in North Berwick, ME is seeking a quality inspector for the Repair Operations division. This 3rd shift role on-site involves inspecting parts and tools using fixed and variable measuring instruments, interpreting drawings, and documenting results as part of a continuous improvement effort.

Required are a High School or GED and experience with precision measuring equipment, plus strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Inspection experience (Non- Aerospace acceptable).
• Familiar with precision measuring equipment.
• Communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Computer skills and basic shop math.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts, tools and gauges using fixed and variable measuring instruments.
• Follow procedures to plan and perform dimensional and visual inspections.
• Record results and determine nonconformances.
• Maintain inspection stamp and support continuous improvement.
• Handle multiple priorities and potential overtime.
