Job summary

Pratt & Whitney’s Asheville team is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure the airworthiness of aerospace components through dimensional and visual inspections. You will read drawings, document results, and collaborate with Operations to resolve quality issues while upholding safety and quality standards.

This is a 3rd shift position (Tuesday–Friday, 10:00 pm–7:30 am) with potential overtime. You will develop proficiency through training, certification, and hands-on practice in inspection

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prefer aerospace manufacturing or inspection experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections per drawings and specs.
• Inspect aerospace components and document results in QNs.
• Identify nonconformances and support corrective actions.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections and ensure process compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of customer, FAA, and other requirements.
