Job summary

Pratt & Whitney’s Asheville team is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure the airworthiness of aerospace components. You will perform dimensional and visual inspections, interpret drawings, document results, and collaborate with Operations to resolve quality issues.

This is a Weekend Night Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 pm–6:30 am. You will work with fixed/variable measuring tools, use Keyence and profilometers, and maintain knowledge of FAA/JAA requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings and inspection procedures.
• Experience with precision measurement equipment like Keyence or profilometers.
• Experience with SAP or Solumina is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections of aerospace components using drawings and procedures.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections, documenting results and identifying nonconformances.
• Use inspection equipment such as Keyence and profilometers to measure and record data.
• Generate Quality Notifications (QNs) and participate in problem-solving for disposition.
• Maintain compliance with customer, FAA, JAA, and other requirements.
