Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Quality Inspector for the Repair Operations division. This 3rd shift role (Mon-Fri, 11:30pm-7am) requires performing dimensional and visual inspections on parts and tools using inspection procedures and manuals.

You will use fixed and variable measuring instruments, record results, and determine nonconformances. The role demands attention to detail, ability to manage priorities, and willingness to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Inspection experience preferred (non-aerospace acceptable).
• Familiar with precision measuring equipment.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Basic computer skills and shop math knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspection on parts, tools and gauges following written procedures and drawings.
• Use fixed and variable measuring instruments to check dimensions and record results.
• Determine extent of nonconformance and complete paperwork; refer for rework as needed.
• Maintain inspection stamp and support continuous improvement activities.
