Job summary

Pratt & Whitney’s Asheville team is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure the airworthiness of aerospace components. You’ll perform dimensional and visual inspections, interpret drawings and technical specs, document results, and partner with Operations to resolve quality issues while upholding safety and quality standards.

This is a 2nd shift position: Monday - Thursday, 4:15pm - 2:45am. You’ll gain proficiency with Keyence, profilometers, and other equipment, while maintaining compliance with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections of aerospace components using drawings and inspection procedures.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections to verify dimensions and workmanship.
• Use fixed and variable measuring instruments to document results.
• Identify nonconformances, generate Quality Notifications (QNs), and determine disposition.
• Perform Solumina OpCert surveillance and over-inspects as required.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable customer, FAA, and other technical requirements and ensure compliance.
