Job summary

Pratt & Whitney North Berwick is seeking a on-site Quality Inspector to support a high-volume inspection process on small lightweight components. You will apply written procedures, drawings, and engine manuals to plan and perform dimensional and visual checks and document results.

The role requires reading, writing and speaking English, with flexibility for overtime and shift changes. You will join a tight-knit team focused on continuous improvement and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting lightweight components, preferably aerospace-related.
• Familiar with precision measuring equipment and tools.
• Clear verbal and written communication; able to read procedures.
• Basic shop math; comfortable using measurement data to accept or reject parts.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Inspect small lightweight components per procedures, drawings and manuals.
• Use fixed/variable measuring instruments to check dimensions and record results.
• Determine nonconformance and complete required paperwork.
• Ensure Work Instructions are followed and arrange repairs for equipment as needed.
• Support continuous improvement and maintain inspection stamp.
