Job summary

Pratt & Whitney’s Asheville team is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure the airworthiness of aerospace components. You will perform dimensional and visual inspections, interpret drawings, document results, and partner with Operations to resolve quality issues on the 3rd shift (Tue–Fri, 10:00 pm–7:30 am).

This onsite role requires reading blueprints, using fixed/variable measurement tools (Keyence, profilometers), maintaining certification, and a strong commitment to safety, quality and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections of aerospace components per drawings and procedures.
• Document inspection results and communicate nonconformances via Quality Notifications.
• Use fixed and variable measuring instruments to verify dimensions and compliance.
• Coordinate with Operations to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Maintain knowledge of customer, FAA, and other requirements and ensure procedures are followed.
• Support training and certification efforts and provide technical guidance as needed.
• Work on the 3rd shift and participate in overtime as required.
