Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a quality inspector for the Repair Operations division. This 3rd shift role (11:30 PM - 7:00 AM, Monday-Friday) involves inspecting parts, tools and gauges using procedures and data to plan and perform dimensional and visual checks.

You will determine nonconformances, document results, and coordinate repairs as needed in a fast-paced aerospace environment. Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, experience with precision measuring equipment, strong

Qualifications

• Inspection experience (Non- Aerospace acceptable).
• Familiar with precision measuring equipment.
• Communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Computer skills.
• Basic Shop Math.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts using written procedures, drawings, engine manuals and data to plan and perform dimensional and visual inspection.
• Use fixed and variable measuring instruments to check dimensions and record results.
• Determine extent of nonconformance and complete appropriate paperwork.
• Follow inspection procedures to verify dimensions and ensure Work Instructions are followed.
• Maintain inspection stamp and manage multiple priorities including overtime as needed.
