Qualifications

• Inspection experience, preferred but not required in aerospace.
• Familiarity with precision measuring equipment.
• Basic computer skills and data recording.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Basic shop math and measurement practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform dimensional and visual inspection on parts, tools and gauges.
• Use fixed and variable measuring instruments per instructions; record results.
• Compute nonconformances and complete relevant paperwork.
• Verify dimensions and ensure adherence to Work Instructions.
• Identify when equipment needs repair or replacement and act accordingly.
• Support continuous improvement activities to meet objectives.
• Maintain inspection stamp and accuracy of the process.
• Handle multiple priorities; overtime may be required.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
