Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years in quality assurance or inspection.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift (2:30 PM–midnight).

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on spacecraft parts and subassemblies.
• Verify in-process and finished goods align with specifications and methods.
• Use calipers, micrometers, comparators, gages, and CMMs for measurements.
• Examine mechanical, electrical, and structural hardware integrity.
• Determine acceptance or rejection of components and test results.
• Document non-conformances and assist root-cause investigations.
• Inspect incoming vendor materials for compliance with specs.
• Maintain logs and inspection records; update documentation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering to resolve issues.
