Job summary
PDS Tech Commercial in Oxnard, CA seeks a skilled Quality Inspector to support spacecraft repair and manufacturing programs. You will perform visual, dimensional, functional inspections on spacecraft components and subassemblies, using calipers, micrometers, comparators, gages, and CMMs, and you will document non-conformances to support a robust quality system.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED plus hands-on inspection experience, second shift from 2:30 PM to midnight, and strong
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required with related experience preferred.
- 3+ years of quality assurance or inspection experience.
- Experience reading engineering drawings and control plans.
Responsibilities
- Perform visual, dimensional, functional inspections on spacecraft components and subassemblies.
- Inspect in-process and completed products using predetermined methods and specifications.
- Identify, document, and track non-conforming materials and assist with root-cause analysis.
