Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. in Oxnard, CA is seeking a Quality Inspector for a 12-month contract. The role requires accurate visual and dimensional inspections of spacecraft components, using calipers, micrometers, CMMs, and other tools.

You will work 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to midnight and must read engineering drawings and procedures. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of QA/inspection experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years in quality assurance or inspection.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Able to work 2nd shift (2:30 PM - midnight).

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional, functional inspections on spacecraft components and subassemblies.
• Inspect in-process and completed products using predefined methods and specifications.
• Use precision measuring tools and CMMs for measurements.
• Identify, document, and track non-conforming materials and assist with root-cause analysis.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and reports.
• Make acceptance decisions on completed work and testing.
