Saab, Inc. in West Lafayette, IN seeks a Quality Engineer to build and strengthen the Quality function supporting production of the T-7A Red Hawk aft fuselage. You will develop quality processes, resolve nonconformances, and drive corrective actions across engineering, production, and quality teams.

The role emphasizes root cause analysis, MRB participation, audits, and collaboration with customers and regulators to meet stringent aerospace requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Hands-on QMS, testing, inspection, and corrective action proficiency.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and change management skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration across functions.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain QMS processes to support site operations.
• Provide timely quality support to production and nonconformance management.
• Lead 8D investigations and drive corrective actions.
• Participate in MRB activities and lead corrective actions.
• Conduct internal audits for process compliance and capability.
• Collaborate with customers, DCMA, regulators, and auditors.
• Train teams on quality principles and systems.
• Foster Saab's Trust, Drive, Expertise and Support culture.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support operations.
