Saab Aeronautics Indiana LLC in West Lafayette, IN is hiring a Quality Engineer to build and strengthen the Quality function for T-7A Red Hawk aft fuselage production. You will develop quality processes, support daily production, resolve nonconformances, and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates have aerospace manufacturing experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, production, and quality teams to meet customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with QMS, testing, inspection, and corrective action.
• Strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain QMS processes to support site operations and continuous improvement.
• Provide timely quality support to production, including responding to Andon calls and managing nonconformances.
• Lead root cause analysis, risk mitigation, and 8D investigations to closure.
• Participate in MRB activities and lead corrective action efforts.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure process compliance and capability.
• Collaborate with customers, regulators (DCMA), and auditors to ensure compliance.
• Train team members on quality principles and systems.
