Job summary

Saab, Inc. in West Lafayette, Indiana is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the team building the aft fuselage of the U.S. Air Force's T-7A Red Hawk. You will shape how work gets done, develop people, and establish a high‑performing manufacturing operation from the ground up.

As a hands‑on leader, you will drive safety, quality, and on‑time delivery, coach and mentor staff, and collaborate across engineering, quality, and support functions to keep production flowing.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of supervisory/people leadership experience in aerospace
• Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience using MES and ERP systems
• Ability to collaborate across departments and align on business objectives and key results
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Availability to work a flexible/extended schedule to meet deadlines
• Leadership by example with accountability

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations for advanced aero-structure manufacturing
• Build and develop your team through coaching, mentoring, training, and feedback
• Create a culture of accountability, urgency and teamwork
• Champion safety and quality and ensure compliance with processes
• Monitor production performance and deploy recovery plans to meet schedule
• Drive continuous improvement and eliminate waste
• Collaborate with management, engineering, quality and support functions
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and training of new team members
