Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor in West Lafayette, IN to lead daily manufacturing operations and optimize the construction of aft fuselage components for the T-7A Red Hawk program.

The role emphasizes safe, compliant, and efficient production with a focus on continuous improvement and collaboration across teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, cross-functional communication, and a track record of achieving KPI targets in a high-precision environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of manufacturing experience required, advanced manufacturing a plus.
• 5+ years of supervisory/leadership experience.
• Aerospace supervisory experience preferred.
• AS9100/ISO environment experience desirable.
• Experience with MES/ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead daily manufacturing operations.
• Communicate daily production goals clearly to the team.
• Report on structural assembly operations and daily KPI adherence.
• Maintain efficient operations of the advanced manufacturing process.
• Mentor and coach team members to improve performance.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and FOD prevention rules.
