Job summary

Saab AB in West Lafayette, Indiana, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the aft fuselage team for the U.S. Air Force’s T-7A RedHawk program. You’ll shape how work gets done, develop people, and build a high‑performance manufacturing operation.

You’ll partner with engineering, quality, and support teams to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals, coaching daily and driving continuous improvement while maintaining a strong culture of accountability.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of proven supervisory experience within the aerospace industry
• Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience using MES and ERP systems
• Proven ability to work effectively across departments and align on business objectives and key results

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations for advanced aero-structure manufacturing toward safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale
• Build and develop your team through coaching, mentoring, training, and performance feedback
• Create a culture of accountability, urgency and teamwork, empowering employees to own production KPIs and quality
• Champion safety and quality, ensuring compliance with established processes, work rules, and FOD-prevention and tool control
• Monitor production performance and deploy recovery plans to maintain master schedule adherence
• Drive continuous improvement to eliminate waste and increase efficiency
• Collaborate across departments to solve problems and maintain product flow throughout the factory
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and training of new team members
• Maintain a clean, high-performing work environment through Saab’s 6S program
