Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace in Cleveland, Ohio seeks a Quality Engineer II to lead quality initiatives, ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, and drive process improvements in aerospace manufacturing.

You will manage quality systems (AS9100, NADCAP), perform audits, support NPI, and collaborate with Engineering and Operations to ensure transfer to production meets specs. This role emphasizes problem solving and Lean concepts.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace Engineering, Material Science or Metallurgy and 3+ years in quality engineering; or 7 years aerospace exp in lieu of degree.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing and maintaining the quality management system (AS9100, NADCAP).
• Inspect materials, components, and finished products to ensure conformance to specs.
• Lead corrective actions using 5-Why and 8D methodologies.
• Support NPI with APQP, PFMEA, control plans, and process flow documentation.
• Work with Engineering and Operations to ensure smooth production transfers.
